The Missoula Freestyle Team, 501(c)(3) has been shredding at Snowbowl since the late 80’s. MFT emphasizes all mountain riders with the technical skills to ride any mountain in any condition. We have a deep knowledgeable coaching staff with years of competition and coaching experience. We love teaching athletes to take their love for riding to the next level. Come and ride on our competition mogul course or terrain park. We will teach you to shred!

If you cannot commit to a full winter program, we are offering spaces just for our 3 day Christmas Camp in our Little Riders, Development Team, Big Mountain, Slopestyle, and Snowboard Programs!

Missoula Freestyle offers financial assistance scholarships on a limited basis to athletes and/or families that qualify. Please email mftscholarships@gmail.com to inquire about a Scholarship Request Form.

The Natural Flow of Growing up with MFT

Ideally, the natural progression would be that your child would start with us in the Little Riders program and then after a year or two they would move on to the Development Team. Once they learned some new skills and built their confidence they would then decide which direction they would like to go from Devo- Moguls, Slopestyle, or Big Mountain skiing., based on what they are most passionate about. Once they decided, they would start at the lower level of that discipline before competing.

Of course this does not work for all kids in all situations based on their needs and skill level. At MFT, we aim to place athletes in the best group for their skiing development and with their friends whenever possible. If you are unsure of what might be the best fit for your athlete, please reach out to our Director! She is knowledgable in all of these programs and can help direct you.
